Hannah Sinclair

Peer Research Development Officer

Hannah joined SDF in Sept 2022 and project manages various local and national peer research projects on a variety of substance use related topics. Prior to coming to SDF, Hannah was working within Dumfries and Galloway Council as a data analyst in the social work department.

Hannah graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2019 with an Honours degree in Criminology. During her degree, she found her interests in substance use and sexuality, harm reduction, and partnership working. Hannah chose to focus her final dissertation project on the rollout of naloxone within Police Scotland and explored the relationships between organisations involved in the national programme. During this time Hannah also volunteered at HMP Edinburgh visitors centre, supporting those visiting family in prison.
