Acting Programme Manager (WFD)
Adelle Still is currently the Acting Programme Manager for Workforce Development (WFD). The team offer a wide range of training and workforce development packages that supports both the specialist workforce and those within the broader health and social care, criminal justice, statutory and voluntary sectors.
Adelle joined SDF in 2018 as a Senior Training and Development Officer where she delivered training on a variety of drug-related and intervention-based topics.
Adelle has worked in the NHS setting for many years in both primary care and acute settings. She worked as an Addictions Education and Prevention Specialist within NHS Ayrshire and Arran for 13 years, where her role consisted of coordinating, developing, implementing and evaluating education and prevention activities in line with national and local strategies. She was the training lead for the Naloxone programme in Ayrshire and Arran and lead on the Alcohol Brief Intervention training. Adelle was also involved in development of an educational resource aimed at S1 to S6 and the development of the Ayrshire training calendar.
