The Scottish Government is taking urgent action on homelessness and needs the help of people who are currently homeless, or who have recently experienced homelessness, to shape its action plan.
There are numerous ways people who are eligible can get involved, from attending discussion sessions, filling out an online survey or even writing a blog!
Glasgow Homelessness Network (GHN) are supporting the work and want to know if there has been a service or person that was there for you? What really works? What are the biggest problems or barriers you face? And do you have any ideas or solutions about fixing homelessness in Scotland?
Whatever you want to say – your voice will be heard. Your advice will help GHN make recommendations to Scottish Government Ministers. They will share the report with you and keep you up to date about the decisions made and actions taken.
There are a number of sessions taking place across Scotland in December 2017 where you can meet people in your area that also want to get involved and make a difference. At these sessions everyone will have a chance to talk about homelessness and what you think can be done to prevent and tackle it.
These events include lunch and your travel expenses will be repaid (just show the staff there your ticket). And if you stay to the end? You will be thanked with a £10 voucher!
