Local Support Fund Manager
Gwen Harrison has come into post and organisation as manager of the new Local Support Fund Project. This is a project focused on supporting organisations to access funding for grassroots work, specifically around drug deaths prevention.
Gwen comes from a background of work in third sector engagement. Much of that work was around developing networks with other sectors and service users and ensuring the voices of people with lived experience were heard at planning levels regionally and nationally.
Gwen previously trained in counselling, delivering drug and alcohol counselling in Argyll and Bute as well as therapeutic support work in both paid and voluntary positions.
Her qualifications include BA in Integration of Health and Social Care and a Post Graduate certificate in Understanding a Resilience Landscape.
