The conference, organised by the Royal College of General Practitioners Sex, Drugs and HIV Task Group in conjunction with Healthcare Events, will provide an opportunity for participants to focus on the central role primary care plays throughout the lives of their families and carers.
The event will consider the challenges and benefits of working with drug and alcohol using patients throughout their lives.
The organisers have made a call for posters, papers, film and other media by 20 February 2009.
