People in recovery’s opinions sought on potential bus pass scheme

Partnership for Action on Drugs in Scotland (PADS) have launched an online survey to ask people in recovery their opinions on the effect a bus pass would have on their recovery journey.

Concessionary travel is the national scheme that supports eligible people to access free bus passes from their local authority.

The organisation suspects that current access to concessionary travel bus pass support creates a barrier to recovery from problematic alcohol or drug use.

PADS are therefore asking for help to collect data that will help them better understand the issues across Scotland, which will help identify if changes are necessary.
