Hepatitis Scotland Lead Officer
Leon has responsibility for the work of Hepatitis Scotland, a project funded by the Scottish Government to be the national voluntary sector lead organisation for viral hepatitis. Leon first worked in the problematic substance use field in Australia in 1995. Since then, he has worked in a variety of statutory and voluntary agencies and has also served on the board of a number of voluntary agencies, including Mainliners, a UK-wide BBV charity.
He is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and has done further study at University of Queensland, successfully completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Studies and a Masters in Health Studies (Addictions).
